At the request of the publisher, I read The Dream Virgin. It is not a book I would have picked up for pleasure reading. For me it was slow going, as it was very disturbing. On the other hand, it does draw our attention to the continuing atrocities of the sex slave trade, child abuse, and the drug trade.
It does have some redeeming qualities, as its main character, Elfri, enjoys a close, healthy relationship with her grandfather. Additionally, it promotes creativity in youths who can make a career of their artistic natures. If you are game, you can read my entire review of The Dream Virgin by clicking right here.
