Delightful Children’s Book for Halloween

I’ve been reading some pretty heavy stuff lately, so today I needed a light, uplifting book. Where best to turn for that? Why, children’s books, of course. I like to work in my local bookstore or coffee house because I’m not distracted by clothes needing to be moved from the washer to the dryer, or by the buzzer on the dryer demanding that I stop whatever I’m doing and come to fold clothes.
So, while wandering through the children’s section, what do I see but a display of Halloween-related books for young children. How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin? is a wonderful story of a teacher who knows how to help improve the self-confidence of a little boy while also enticing the children with a hands-on math lesson. Your favorite little pumpkin or goblin will absolutely love this little picture book. I gave it 5 stars on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and GoodReads.
