Book Signing Today

My book club will be reading Thomas Jefferson and the Tripoli Pirates in February for our March meeting. I’ve already finished the chick flick we were to read in December. So, when I saw that the authors of Thomas Jefferson would be at our local Barnes & Noble for a book-signing on December 12, of course, we went.

Thomas Jefferson

We arrived one hour before the appointed time of 3:00 p.m., but there was already a line. Both authors Brian Kilmeade and Don Yaeger signed books for several hours for a huge crowd.

Both my husband and I are history buffs; I have been since childhood. I can’t wait to get started on this new book, and will write a review of it as soon as I finish reading it.

  1. Sounds like a good one. I wish I had time to read real books again.

    • So what are your reading, fake books? Just kidding — I couldn’t resist. I prefer to read on my Nook, and I think I do read faster on the Nook, but because this is a history book, I wanted a real book to place in the history section of our small library. Good to hear from you, Barb.

I read and wrote a review of “George Washington’s Secret Six”, which these two wrote a couple of years ago. It was an excellent read, and I bet this one will be too.
